The World Health Organization (WHO) features a story highlighting the iCCM work of a community health worker in Etsu Gudo, a remote Nigerian village. In the three years since receiving training and medicine through WHO’s RAcE program, no children have died in Etsu Gudo or been referred to the distant hospital. Through the results that Etsu Gudo has seen, the village leaders and community have recognized the positive impact that integrated community case management makes.
